The heartbreaking loss of an infant has brought the community together to support the family.
A GoFundMe campaign was set up following the death of Matilda “Tilly” Armstrong at University Hospital Geelong last Monday.
Barwon Health’s chief medical officer said the death of the one-year-old has been referred to the Coroner.
“Barwon Health extends its deepest sympathy and condolences to the child’s family and loved ones,” Dr Simon Woods said.
Bannockburn Football Club posted a link on Facebook last week, sharing the terrible news that members AJ, her husband Brad and son Austin had lost their beautiful daughter and sister Matilda “Tilly”.
“The committee, players and supporters of the Bannockburn Football Club send all their love and support at this unimaginable time.”
“To support AJ and Brad, we ask our BFNC family to donate to a GoFundMe page set up in Tilly’s memory.”
The club donated $1,500 while Stockdale & Lego donated $250.
