Crash closes Highway for hours

A man in his late teens has been airlifted to hospital after a serious crash in Fyansford.

The Hamilton Highway was closed for several hours after the incident occured around 4pm Thursday.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said they were called to the scene just before 4:15pm

“Paramedics treated a man in his late teens at the scene for lower body injuries.”

“He was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition.”

It comes just hours after a single vehcile crash in Rokewood, around 60 kilometres north-west of Geelong, yesterday morning killed a woman.
