GEELONG Amateur’s James Lee has been handed a two-week set penalty for behaving in an abusive, threatening or obscene manner towards an umpire during Saturday’s loss to Queenscliff.

Lee was reported during the second quarter of the clash at KFC Oval.

If he accepts the ban, he will miss must-win match-ups with Barwon Heads and Torquay.

It was better news for Lee’s Ammos teammate Tommy Stephen, who was reported for striking Couta Brod Dawson during the third quarter.

After AFL Barwon’s Match Review Panel viewed the incident, they deemed it careless and offered Stephen a reprimand.

Queenscliff’s Che Durran was reported for a high bump on Stephen during the final term.

However, in consultation with the reporting umpire, the MRP withdrew the charge.
