St Joseph’s has been awarded the four points after wild weather at Bisinella Oval forced its clash with Lara to be abandoned with just over a quarter to play.
Joeys were leading 11.9 (75) to 6.6 (42) when umpires called a halt to play late in the third term.

It’s the first time since 2017 that a game in the region has been abandoned due to weather when lightning halted a GDFL clash between Bell Post Hill and Geelong West.
Lewis Antonac, Brant Haintz, and Aussie Humphrey each kicked two goals for Joeys, with captain Al Hickey and the experienced Riley Ferguson standouts.
Rookie of the Year contender Tom Gunther ended his first season with two goals, with Tom Reynolds and Bailey Ettridge keeping the Cats competitive.
There were fireworks on the field as well, with a melee expected to be scrutinised by the AFL Barwon Match Review Panel.
