Major access road finally set to open to public

A major access road to a new housing estate is set to be opened this month
The new Ison Road and Ballan Road intersection has been under construction, Wyndham Councillor Peter Maynard said the works are just about complete, and the new traffic lights should be switched on within a fortnight
“The developers have advised council that Department of Transport (VicRoads) is scheduled to activate the traffic lights on Tuesday 13 September 2022.”
“This means that the intersection should be open to through traffic on that day barring no last minute issues (we don’t expect any).”
Civil works will continue in Ballan Road west of the Ison Road intersection to modify the intersection of Spearmint Blvd and Ballan Road
