Geelong celebrates – 2022 Premiers

Geelong has turned out in style to celebrate the Cats thrashing Sydney in the AFL Grand Final.

Thousands of fans from the Anthony Costa Oval live site joined fans already in the CBD who had been at local pubs and venues.

The streets were abuzz with car horns honking, and revellers singing a range of songs including “We Are Geelong” and “We Are The Champions”

Overall police were happy with the behaviour of partygoers, with no major incidents to report.
