A man’s run from a Grovedale home after snatching an 8ct Diamond Bracelet

Victoria Police are asking locals to keep an eye on Social Media Marketplaces and online for an item similar to the one pictured above, which may be listed well below its retail value

The owner of the $24,000 listed the item on the online marketplace website Gumtree.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said the man visited the Ainslie Avenue house on Monday night after arranging to view the item

“Once inside, the man engaged in conversation with the owner before he snatched the bracelet and ran out the door.”

“Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have released CCTV and images of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.”

“The man is perceived to be Caucasian with a solid build, about 182cm tall and long blonde hair at the back and short at the sides.”

 Anyone who recognises the man, knows the whereabouts of the bracelet, or has seen the bracelet advertised for sale on social media or online marketplace websites is urged to come forward.
