A Friday night deluge threatened to cancel A Show ‘n’ Shine but organisers went ahead, much to the delight of local car lovers.
Hundreds of enthusiasts took to Steampacket Gardens to view vintage cars through to current models.
Fears of cancellation were removed Saturday evening after members of the Rallye Sport Owners Club of Victoria (RSOCVic) committee, putting on the show, assessed Steampacket Gardens.
John Masci from RSOCVic said they checked out the grounds Saturday and it was suitable to continue as planned
They left the call to the last minute, Mr. Masic said they kept an eye on the rain, and the ground condition but it was clear Sunday morning the show could go on.
The event started with a convoy starting at the Princes Freeway service centre at Avalon at 9:30am, before more cars joined at Rippleside Park departing at 10am for a bump in just after 10am
