A major change has been made for parking at the Mt Duneed event today

Event management said despite unseasonably wet weather, the concert venue is fine for the show to go ahead, however, there will be changes to car parking areas.

“Due to the recent heavy rains, the low-lying flat areas usually designated for some of our onsite parking is not dry enough to facilitate parking. As such, parking and traffic arrangements have changed, with onsite parking on the show day restricted to 4WD vehicles only.”

“Onsite parking will be restricted to 4WD vehicles only. ALL 4WD vehicles, please access the carpark via Anglesea Rd and onto Reservoir Road. Please note, not all SUV’s are 4WD. All non-4WD vehicles including AWD will need to utilise our FREE Park & Ride shuttle service to and from the show”

The service begins at 2pm, and will run every 10 minutes until 7pm, while end-of-night return services will begin departing at 8:30pm and continue until all patrons have left the event.

Stops include:

  1. PTV Bus Stop – Waurn Ponds SC/Pioneer Rd (opposite Pioneer park)
  2. PTV Bus Stop – Waurn Ponds SC/Princes Hwy Waurn Ponds Shopping Center
  3. BP petrol station service road Princes Hwy/Colac Road
  4. PTV Bus Stop – Geelong Homemaker Centre/Princes Hwy
