Christmas Tree to ‘wrap up’ public display

The famous Geelong Floating Christmas Tree is into it’s final week of public display before being put in storage for eleven months.

Sound and light shows will continue every 15 minutes from 8:30 pm until Midnight on Sunday, January 8.

The 10-tonne tree will be disassembled and towed on Sunday, allowing those who celebrate Orthodox Christmas on Saturday to share in the magic.

400 lights illuminate the 25 metre tree, and over 25,000 reflective discs add to the spectacle.
