Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of the region.

The warning is for damaging winds and heavy rainfall.

As the thunderstorms head east, they’re expected to impact Beacon Point, the You Yangs and the area east of Lara by 2:10 pm and waters off Portarlington, the area south of Werribee and the area west of Werribee by 2:40 pm.
