After languishing down the bottom of the A-League table for the first half of the season, three straight wins have turned the table for Western United
United beat Melbourne Victory 2-1 at AAMI Park on Monday night with Noah Botić giving his team the lead before Victory’s Bruno Fornaroli equalising in the 50th minute.
Aleksandar Prijović would hand United the lead again in the 69th minute with the final goal of the match.
It’s a congested bottom half, with five teams within five points of each other, but WUFC can jump into sixth on Sunday with a win over 11th placed Brisbane Roar.
