Walker makes grim Ocean Grove discovery

A passerby discovered a body near Buckley Park Reserve in Ocean Grove on Wednesday afternoon.

It’s believed the body was found at a location with difficult-to-access terrain with paramedics requiring the help of the police helicopter.

A spokesperson for Victoria Police said the grim discovery was made just after 3:30pm, with police and paramedics called to the scene

“Police are investigating after a body was located on a beach at Ocean Grove.”

“The body was located by a passer-by near Sunset Strip just after 3.30pm.”

“The body is yet to be identified and cause of death yet to be determined at this stage.”
