Third Lay Day called for Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach

The Bells Beach Pro is off for the day, organisers announced on Friday morning.

Yesterday saw the first action after days 1 & 2 were also called off.

 It was a successful start to the day for the Aussie men with Ethan Ewing, Ryan Callinan, Dylan Moffat, Owen Wright, Jack Robinson, and Jackson Baker all winning their respective heats

While Xavier Huxtable, Callum Robson, Connor O’Leary, Liam O’Brien, and Morgan Cibilic also progressed to the round of 32.

In the Women’s heats, Molly Picklum Sally Fitzgibbons, and Stephanie Gilmore all topped their heats, while Kobie Enright and Tyler Wright advanced to the next round as well.

 

 

 

 The event is scheduled to run until April 14, weather and waves permitting.
