Lanes have reopened on a stretch of Barwon Heads Road after a stint of roadworks.
Delays have impacted Marshall, Charlemont and Armstrong Creek residents as duplication works continue.
Two lanes are now open on the stretch of road between Barwarre Road and Crowes Road, meaning there’s two roads for northbound traffic all the way through to Settlement Road for Geelong-bound traffic.
It follows a recent completion of a shared-use path under the Waurn Ponds Creek Bridge, and two sets of traffic lights along Barwon Heads Road at Barwarre Road and Crowes Road and is part of 4km of new traffic lanes worth $365m
Major Roads Projects Victoria expects the upgrades to be complete this year, ready for 44,000 daily journeys by 2031.
